Rev Canon George Kovoor

Canon Kovoor is the Principal of Trinity College in Bristol, England, a Personal Chaplain to the Queen of England, and the Canon of Worcester Cathedral. Other responsibilities include being the international co-coordinator of the Evangelical Fellowship in the Anglican Communion and having active involvement in the Orthodox family of Churches, the Church in China and the Black Majority Pentecostal and Charismatic Churches.

George and his wife Chitra have three children, Timothy, Joshua and Esther. He loves music, laughter, and good discussion. He is widely read, enjoys sports—especially sailing, and was even the representative for India in the World Sailing Championships at one time!

He has a vibrant international ministry in Britain and Europe as an evangelist, a Bible teacher, and a spiritual director, with an emphasis on teaching and encouraging Christians to be faithful to Scripture and to be passionate about missions and evangelism. He nurtures, disciples, and challenges them to go out and make disciples; and he is committed to nurturing leadership at all levels of the Church.

He is passionate about sharing the Gospel.
